When I was a kid remember driving with my Dad in his little red VW beetle. My parents were super young when they had me, both worked and worked hard. Mom often had to go in on Saturday's and it was me, my Dad and that little beetle. We lived way out in out little town where there was still just a ton of mesa (the desert version of the middle of nowhere). There were a couple 'short cuts' we had on our way to and from home. Nothing was more fun than taking that little beetle on a little off roading. My Dad super takes care of everything we ever had and has never been one to do things crazy, but for whatever reason, he had no problem letting loose and flying through the mesa with my little four-year-old-self laughing all the way. We both laughed!
All of these little experiences and silly little moments in our life come together to make up our hearts- our true authentic selves.
What do Elephants and VW Beetles have in common?
They both have trunks in the front! HeHe
This is a piece of my Authentic heart- A piece of art to always remind me of those little moments.
About 20% done, but will be a true representation of a piece of my heart and a reminder of good times. Always surround yourself with things that you love.
Celebrate your little moments that make up your authentic heart
I am a firm believer that we have to remind ourselves always of who we really are. Surround yourself with the people, art, quotes, decor, everything that makes you feel happy, good, and truly authentic.
